Sunday School

At

Mount Hermon:

Sunday School is a vital aspect of spiritual growth at our church. Although we have two morning worship services, Sunday School begins at 9:45 for everyone. This is your opportunity to meet together in small groups for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

To meet the wide range of needs in the adult division, there are a variety of class options from which to choose. We have classes for college-aged students, singles, young couples, and several classes for couples with children. There are several co-ed classes with mixed ages, although we also offer our senior adults separate classes for men and women. Get the most out of your Sunday mornings, and join us for Sunday School this week. Questions? Ask Doug Price, our Sunday School director. We look forward to seeing you this week!

Discipleship

Training:

Discipleship Training is another opportunity for spiritual growth at Mount Hermon. Courses are offered on a semester basis, with topics covering finances, Bible study, prayer, marriage, men’s groups, women’s groups, and personal discipleship. New courses are offered in the fall and spring, with groups meeting in homes and at the church. Dates and times vary to accommodate the needs of each individual. Questions or suggestions? See Kay Parrish, our Discipleship Training director. Sign up for one today!
Mission Opportunities:
Mount Hermon is a mission-minded church. In Virginia, we are a leading contributor to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering for world-wide missions, and we share prayer requests from our missionaries in each morning service. Each year, our church supports several mission trips, both local and throughout the world. One option for our adults is to go as a chaperone on the Youth Mission Trip, scheduled each summer. We also send a group of adults to Honduras each year on a medical mission trip. Remember, we are always looking for new ways, people, and places to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
