Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Weekday Preschool Program
"Jesus became wiser and stronger. He also became more and more pleasing to God and to people." Luke 2:52 (NIrV) The Weekday Preschool at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church ministers to three- and four-year olds and their families as they grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Wiser The Bible says that as Jesus grew up, He became wiser, stronger, and more pleasing to God and to people. Every Christian parent desires for his or her child to develop mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually throughout life. Mount Hermon Baptist Church’s Weekday Preschool will lay a foundation for children to understand God, Jesus, the Bible, themselves, relationships with others, and the world around them. Stronger


		The purpose of the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Weekday Preschool is to support and minister to families by providing biblically-based, developmentally-appropriate education for preschoolers. We commit to provide a nurturing environment for preschoolers, encouragement for families, and a positive witness for Jesus Christ and his church.
More Pleasing to God and to People Preschoolers will enjoy a wide variety of activities that are appropriate for their ages and developmental levels. Each class will be instructed by a caring, Christian teacher and a teacher’s assistant.
Schedule 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. The preschool follows the Pittsylvania County Public Schools schedule for closures, holidays, and the beginning and end of the school year, unless otherwise determined. Our Director Brenda Smith has served with the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Weekday Preschool since its inception. Brenda has been a preschool director and teacher for over fifteen years and has touched the lives of many families in Danville. She loves and cares for children more than anything else and believes that they are precious gifts from God. Brenda and her husband have one daughter and two beautiful grandchildren.
